Design Thinking is a multidisciplinary user-centric approach for developing products, services and concepts for any field of life. It responds to users’ actual needs and desires and leads to sustainable innovations that can improve the user’s future life. This results from a deep understanding of the user’s values and from benchmarking existing technologies. The design innovation methodology originally pioneered at Stanford University in California and spurred the entrepreneurial culture of the Silicon Valley.
