What the Internet can do and what it can’t do!

Maartje Nevejan and I went to the Global Voices Summit in Nairobi last week to kick off our project we-the-movie. For this reason we did a couple of interviews and filmed during the summit.

Below is the interview Maartje conducted with Zeynep Tufekci in which they were talking about

– teh change of topics around the Web
– the network structure of the Web is full of hierarchies
– race between governments and citizens – who is better in using the Internet?
– connectedness – will it stay?
– what will be next?

Zeynep Tufekci is exploring the interactions between technology and society. She is an assistant professor at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and a fellow at Harvard Berkman Center for Internet and Society.
