Trip to Chile – Global Voices Summit

Two days ago I’ve started my trip to Chile. The main reason I am here is the Global Voices Summit on May 6 and 7 in Santiago. “Next generation citizen media, public access and citizen participation” is the topic we will discuss with a diverse group of bloggers, activists, technologists, journalists from around the world for two days of public discussions and workshops. The congress takes place at Santiago’s Public Library.

Besides the #gvsummit we will explore Chile a bit – starting out in the North … Last night we’ve arrived at San Pedro and checked in @Terrenati – a great place to get adjusted to the altitude, to relax, think and prepare the rest of the trip.

Looking forward to all the friends flying in from all over the world to share the future of citizen media and participation!

So, please stay tuned … there is – hopefully – more to come …

P.S. Just found a couple of books from Charles Bukowski in the Library here …. guess that’s the right place:-)
