Nokia is in the mood of converging …

… from a hardware company into something more converged. Nokia is the world’s largest mobile phone maker and with more than one billion handsets shipped is by extension the world’s largest computing platform. Bigger than Google and Microsoft!

I found two interesting articles about Nokia and the future of mobile devices by Darren Waters, Technology editor, BBC News website, in San Francisco.

Nokia morphs itself from within
and
Mobiles bridge physical and digital worlds

Both articles are worth reading. The second one gives great insider view into the Nokia Labs in Silicon Vally.

Use this as an animator to read the articles:-))

The video is about Morph that Nokia produced to explain the concept – which – quoting Darren – is not publicly available.
